Women's Poetry Circle Spring Pop Up

You are invited to a Women’s Poetry Circle Spring Pop Up event at Dressed by the Mother Thrifter in downtown Jackson TN.

This will be a poetry circle and tea party!!! Renée will provide a delicious calming tea along with locally made Sprinkle Me Sugar macaroons.

Please bring a journal or something to write on and your favorite pen.

We will meet for an hour and a half with an hour being the facilitated poetry circle and the rest of the time for mingling and community building.

The theme for this Poetry Circle is Hello Spring as it will be the night before the Spring Equinox.

The flow of the poetry circle will be:

Check in, Breath Practice, and Intention Setting

Poetry Reading- Renée will read selected poems for inspiration

Write, Journal, and Reflect- We will collectively write and reflect in silence as we enjoy our tea and macaroons.

Council Share- We will engage in a council share where everyone will have the opportunity to share what they wrote or reflections on what they wrote. This is your time to be witnessed and heard. This is optional.

Closing, Breath Practice, Gratitude Practice

***This event is open to individuals who identify as women (cis and trans), femmes and genderqueer people. The purpose of this is to create a safe container for people who identify as women to come together in community.
